The conference clearly showed that digital transformation in Croatia is only starting to develop and that we still have to invest a lot into research and development as well as process modernization, robotization and automation to achieve transformation into 4.0 industry. Unfortunately, Croatia lacks both industry and experts. Therefore, one of the conclusions reached at the conference was that the development of digital society requires cooperation efforts between economic subjects, the academic community and the state.
